The internal 32-bit processor makes accessing the receiver's features fast and also speeds up the rendering of the on-screen seven-line display and program guide. The program guide tells you what you're watching and what's coming up on other channels. You can also set it to display Caller ID information (if you subscribe to the service from your local phone company), so you can choose not to answer the call from your mother-in-law if you're watching a good flick. What's more, there's a search feature, called "Scout," that will let you look for favorite shows using up to eight key words, such as "wrestling, "Jell-O" and "bikini."
