12.3 Megapixels - 3 in. LCD Screen - CompactFlash Memory Card Slot - Video HDMI and USB Outputs
This is a great camera, a little complex at times- I am sure I will get used to it the more I use it(I am coming out of the F3 era). While the size may be a little bigger than most, it is not "huge". The large high quality display is a real Wow item. The start up speed and photo speed is incredible. This thing seems to think on its own as I have yet to screw up a picture - they all come out great. I can use my very old, but very good Nikkor AI lenses on it (one of the reasons for buying). This camera is typical Nikon - it makes me look better than I am.

After a year of doubt I broke down and bought this lens, Took it on a Vacation an It left me very pleased the quality of my pictures was very good the flexibility that it gives you with the VR is excellent it was worth every penny. Now for the reviews that people post regarding this lens being an OK lens, here is what you as a buyer need to remember when buying this this is not a specific lens or an artistic lens (ie.a 50mm/f.4 or a 200mm/ f2) so it does not compare to a dedicated lens. Also this lens does not take better pictures, YOU have to use it well to take good pictures. That being said this lens is a true performer it does everything(By that I mean: all the ranges really well) Don't regret my purchase at all. thank you all who read this and all of you who truly give unbiased reviews.

I love that I can attach this lens to my Sony/Minolta A100 and use it as an "walk around" lens. It can take very good close ups and yet I can capture things far, far away also. I may not ever need another lens. Photos are sharp, detailed and the colors are true. I haven't found anything I don't like - unless it could come down in price a bit. But you know, they say, "You get what you pay for", and this lens is worth every penny!!
