The Sony MDR-NC500D noise canceling headphones use a new groundbreaking technology to digitally reduce noise for your listening pleasure. These innovative headphones more accurately reduce stress-inducing noise from planes, trains and buses while providing the high-quality audio expected from Sony. Up to 99% of ambient noise can be reduced at 160Hz due to the artificial intelligent noise canceling circuitry which selects between three different environmental modes to best suit your surroundings. The built in Lithium-ion battery provides up to 16 hours of continued use with the option of up to 28 hours of continued use with standard AA batteries. Convenient accessories are supplied including an in-flight audio plug adaptor, premium carrying case and AC power adaptor for charging the internal battery.
