The NetworkAIR RM Air Distribution Unit is a unique 2U rack-mounted fan tray product that works with an existing precision A/C system to deliver cool air to the equipment contained in a NetShelter enclosure or other 19" EIA-310-D rack with an open or removable floor. The Air Distribution Unit, which is installed at the bottom of the enclosure and can be connected to the raised floor plenum, pulls supply air directly into the enclosure, thereby preventing the conditioned air from mixing with warm ambient air before it reaches the equipment. The dual fans provide the increased airflow needed to cool densely packed equipment and improves static pressure distribution under raised floors, solving many of the heat issues facing today's data centers.

It pulls in conditioned air from the front of the rack and distributes it to the side air intake of the networking equipment. This extends equipment life by providing proper inlet temperatures.This product is recommended for one or more networking products that are stacked consecutively in a rack. Rack Side Air Distribution Units may be placed above and/or below the networking equipment. Airflow pattern is user configurable via an interchangeable air turning vane.
