Just read the other review. It should not make any buzzing noises. Might want to have them check it out (on site warranty) mine is super quiet.
Panasonic has cured the only issue with this professional model, and that was the shortage of HDMI ports....the 10UK model had one (1), this model has two (2), and the new HDMI add-on modules have 2 ports now so you can easily upgrade this unit to 4 HDMI ports which is more than most people will ever need...I think!

The Panasonic TH-58PH10UKA is an incredible viewing experience. If you don't need a TV with a tuner this is a great value! You get a 58 inch plasma screen for less than the cost of a 50 inch.
