Sony's KP-53S75 53-inch rear-projection TV (RPTV) is loaded with such timesaving and performance-enhancing features as auto convergence, for easy setup, and a high-contrast lenticular screen. Dual-tuner PIP (picture-in-picture) allows you to watch two different programs simultaneously without the aid of an external tuner. The image is enhanced by way of a digital comb filter. This TV has a score of connectivity options which enable it to play host to just about any video source. Among the rear-panel connections is a set of component video inputs. It also has two S-video inputs, two composite video inputs, variable stereo audio outputs, two RF inputs, a set of A/V outputs, and Sony's Control-S system control jack. The front panel sports both S-video and composite video inputs, along with stereo audio inputs. The KP-53S75's MTS stereo sound emanates from a pair of front-firing two-way speakers, each of which is powered by 17 watts of amplification. The KP-53S75 incorporates the V-Chip parental control system to help keep Junior away from objectionable broadcasts.
