The DM001201 Hot-Swappable Drive Module is a brand new product manufactured by Enlight Corporation, which provides the perfect solution for users who need a cost-effective entry-level hot swappable RAID/Storage solution. The DM001201 is easy to install, use and maintain. It is made of high quality steel that protects hard drives. The DM001201 fits in 2 consecutive 5.25" half-height drive bays, allowing users to place it in many different desktop and file-server cases. This module employs the latest SCA2 (80-pin) technology, which supports hot-swap functionality. Hard drives can be replaced without shutting down the system. Powerful 60mm cooling fans (2 per module/2 total) effectively pull the hot air out from the module. The DM001201 uses a single chip, GEM318, as SCSI based SAF-TE interface, which supports the basic SCSI and SAF-TE commands for system monitoring. One power connector can provide power to drive up to three hard drives. Four SCSI ID groups are provided for users to choose the configuration of drives as they wish.
