Constructed entirely out of aluminum, ThermalTake’s Xaser III SuperTower case offers innovative features and a variety of accessories that you will not find in any other cases offered. Offering a total of 12 drive bays and 7 expansion slots, the Xaser III is easily expandable for all you drive needs with plenty of room to spare. One accessory included that you will not find in any other cases offered is a Hardcano 4-channel fan speed controller with LCD temperature display mounted in front. The display allows you to monitor temperatures in two areas. A programmable alarm is onboard to let you know if you exceed a preset trip temperature. The Xaser III also included a total of 7 80mm (A1420) ultra silent case fans (2 front, 2 side, 2 rear, 1 top). The Xaser III incorporates an innovative feature, which offers dual USB2.0 ports, a single FireWire 1394 port, a mic and headphone port on top of the case. ThermalTake also has taken the worry out of trying to match the color of device drives with the Xaser III case with an aluminum constructed door, which conceals the drive bays. The door is also equipped with a key lock for added security. The Xaser III also offers drive rails for both 3.5” and 5.25” drives for easy assembly.
