A couple of years ago I bought a Roomba robotic vacuum and it keeps my living room much cleaner using it on a regular basis as I had time for before purchasing it. When I saw iRobot had a floor scrubber for the kitchen and dining room I immediately wanted one. I received an email about remanufactured Scoobas for only $199 instead of the regular price of $499 so I jumped at the chance to finally ...
I use it to clean my Kitchen and Entrance hallway which is vinyl flooring. The machine is quite efficient and cleans very well. I wish that future versions would come with a scrubber brush to do corners... perhaps a stronger version of the small corner brush found on the Roomba. I also wish it was better at drying the floor. Overall it has made my life easier as I clean the floors a couple of time...
IRobot Scooba is even better than the Roomba (which I also adore!!) It does a marvelous job and scrubs up the toughest floor grime, even stuck on gum. You do need to be careful to clean the brushes thouroughly after use, particularly if you have pets, as hair can get wrapped around the bearings. I highly recommend this product. Well worth the $$$
