The Sony HVR-M25 incorporates a compact and simple design, for better desktop recording. The built-in 2.7" LCD display lets you preview easily. It features 1080i, DVCAM and DV SP recording and playback capability for easy migration. It also features playback of HDV 720p pre-recorded tapes and mini-size DV cassettes. Works with standard-sized cassettes that allow up to 276 minutes of HDV recording. The HVR-M25 provides down-conversion functions from HD to SD and is switchable between 60 and 50 Hz (NTSC/PAL) for full flexibility depending on production needs.
