The first HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL movie to be released straight to the silver screen, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3 finds the cast of the beloved earlier installments, all students at East High, dealing with the ups and downs of senior year. While all the characters have their own dilemmas, the central issue, as in past films, is the relationship between sweethearts Troy (Zac Efron), the captain of East High's Wildcats basketball team, and the bookish Gabriella (Vanessa Hudgens), who face the possibility of imminent separation when Gabriella gets a chance to attend college early. With this third outing in the wildly popular Disney series, director Kenny Ortega takes full advantage of HSM3's big-screen leap, staging musical numbers that go far beyond the scope of the movie's predecessors (see the lavish "I Want It All" by resident East High diva Sharpay, played by Ashley Tisdale). While the series regulars are in fine form and a few new characters are introduced, the film really belongs to Efron, who gets the most screen time and is clearly on a trajectory for stardom beyond HSM. Rather than hold back their budding leading man, the creators and producers of HSM3 let Efron take the spotlight, much to the movie's advantage. Designed to welcome the few viewers who might be unfamiliar with HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, SENIOR YEAR certainly offers plenty of valedictory excitement, and will leave fans giddy with delight.

"What Time Is It?" It's time to watch the sequel to the Nielsen-busting hit HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL! This Disney Channel original movie brings back all the beloved characters from the first film, but it moves the action from the school year to the sizzling summer. Just because school's out, it doesn't mean that Troy (Zac Efron), Gabriella (Vanessa Hudgens), Chad (Corbin Bleu), and Taylor (Monique Coleman) just get to sit around. Instead, the four students get summer jobs at the Lava Springs Country Club, and they won't even get a break from Sharpay (Ashley Tisdale). Her family owns the club, and her biggest goal for the summer is to take Troy from Gabriella. With all the added attention, Troy gets a taste of the good life and it makes him wonder if he should be with Gabriella or enjoy the finer things. HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2 features more of the upbeat musical numbers that made the first film such a smash hit including "Fabulous," "Work This Out," "You Are the Music in Me," and "Gotta Go My Own Way."

Pop singing sensations the Jonas Brothers make their feature-film debut in this concert experience. From their beginnings on the Disney Channel to the enormous fame that came after the 2007 release of their self-titled debut album, the New Jersey natives have followed a similar path to other tween pop idols like Miley Cyrus and Hilary Duff. But unlike those two, the real-life brothers have mostly appeared as themselves, not adopting on-screen personae like Cyrus?s Hannah Montana. For a band so young, they take their music seriously and hold their fans dear. While they?ve got producers working left and right to perfect their smooth look and sound, all three young men have a say in the band?s creative direction. Taking their musical act to the big screen, Kevin, Joe, and Nick delight their large pre-teen and teenage fan base with their cute looks, youthful energy, and musical optimism. The Disney film takes Jonas fans along with the band as they travel across the U.S. on their "Burning Up" tour, with guest spots by Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato. The film is packed not only with concert material, but also with backstage happenings as the band uses its pop sensibilities to try to make sense of love, newfound celebrity, and growing up. Filmed in July and August of 2008, the film focuses largely on two concert venues: Anaheim's Honda Center, and New York?s Madison Square Garden. Fan favorites are performed alongside one previously unreleased Jonas Brothers track, "Love Is On Its Way."

ROGER RAMJET, a satirical super-hero cartoon parody begun in 1965 and voiced by Gary Owens (SPACE GHOST, the LAUGH-IN announcer), led the heroic American Eagle Squad (Yank, Dee, and Doodle) under General Brassbottom against N.A.S.T.Y.--the National Association of Spies, Traitors, and Yahoos. Ramjet maintained a stock of "Proton Energy Pills" that allotted him the strength of 20 atom bombs for a 20-second interval. Other colorful recurring characters included villainous Noodles Romanoff and His No-Goods, Red Dog the Pirate, Lance Crossfire, the Solenoid Robots, Lotta Love, and the alluring Jacqueline Hyde. This comprehensive collection features 120 episodes of the original animated television series.

STUART LITTLE: Based on the novel by E.B. White, this is the heartwarming story of Stuart Little, a charming mouse who is adopted by a human family, to the disgust of the housecat and his new brother, George. The tale unfolds as Stuart grows accustomed to his new role, eventually winning over everyone he meets. Seamless technical effects make this a work of entertainment that even the most jaded of filmgoers will fall for. STUART LITTLE 2: Lovable talking mouse Stuart Little (voiced by Michael J. Fox) lives with his human family in a quaint brownstone near Central Park in an idyllic New York City. In this sequel to the 1999 blockbuster, Stuart deals with growing pains. His mother (Geena Davis) is overprotective of her fearless minuscule mouse son who plays soccer, skateboards, and drives his own convertible to school. Meanwhile, his brother, George (Jonathan Lipnicki), is spending more and more of his time with his friends, leaving Stuart feeling deserted. Just when Stuart is at his loneliest, a lovely bird named Margalo (voiced by Melanie Griffith) literally falls into his life while she is being pursued by a vicious falcon (voiced by James Woods). Adventure and hijinks ensue when Margalo--who is not as innocent as she appears to be--disappears and Stuart vows to find her. Snowbell (voiced by Nathan Lane), the family cat, provides substantial comic relief. Hugh Laurie also stars as Stuart's levelheaded father, and Steve Zahn provides the voice for the scruffy cat Monty. Top-notch animation and a fitting voice from Fox make Stuart endearing and oddly human. STUART LITTLE 3: The lovable Stuart Little returns in this animated children's film based on E.B. White's book. Voiced again by Michael J. Fox, Stuart is now off to the woods with his human family (Geena Davis and Hugh Laurie) for a camping trip that he--and all his little viewers--will never forget. Virginia Madsen and Tom Kenny also lend their voices to the production.

On October 3, 1993, Army Rangers and members of the elite Delta Force participated in a covert operation in Mogadishu, Somalia that went horribly wrong. Sent to abduct two lieutenants of a vicious Somali warlord, the soldiers found themselves surrounded by hostile militia. Two Black Hawk helicopters were shot down and many men lost their lives. Mark Bowden of the Philadelphia Inquirer told the story of the battle in his exhaustively researched, critically acclaimed book, BLACK HAWK DOWN, and filmmaker Ridley Scott (GLADIATOR) and screenwriter Ken Nolan have done an amazing job of bringing the dramatic story to the screen. Like Bowden's book, the film does not thoroughly examine the context of the conflict, but gives a detailed and intense blow-by-blow account of the fighting. The outstanding ensemble cast includes Josh Hartnett as a competent but nervous Ranger sergeant leading his first mission, Ewan McGregor as a "desk jockey" who excels when sent into combat, Eric Bana (THE INCREDIBLE HULK) as a cocky and enigmatic Delta, and Ron Eldard as a downed Black Hawk pilot. The violence of the film is brutal and nearly constant. Scott unflinchingly captures the chaos and mayhem of battle with tremendous visual finesse.

Fans of Jane Austen have come to trust the BBC and Masterpiece for their excellent adaptations of the author's classic work, and this version of SENSE & SENSIBILITY is no exception. PRIDE AND PREJUDICE screenwriter Andrew Davies provides the script for this miniseries about the Dashwood sisters and their quests for marriage. Eldest sister Elinor tries to be the practical one as she thinks of someone who can't be hers, while her younger sister Marianne dives headlong into passion without considering the consequences. This adaptation stars David Morrissey (STATE OF PLAY), Janet McTeer (TUMBLEWEEDS), and Dominic Cooper (STARTER FOR TEN). In PERSUASION, though she refuses Captain Wentworth (Rupert Penry-Jones) in her youth, Anne Elliot's (Sally Hawkins, LITTLE BRITAIN) love for her handsome but penniless suitor never dies. When he returns eight years later--a wealthy and high-ranking naval officer--she has the chance to set things right. While the two leads ably carry the film, the highlight is Anthony Head's (BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER) hilarious turn as Anne's snobby father. This Masterpiece Theatre production offers a splendid rendition of Jane Austen's final novel. Austen fans will also be pleased by the inclusion of the critically praised drama about the author's life, MISS AUSTEN REGRETS, starring Olivia Williams (RUSHMORE) as Austen.

In Clint Eastwood's MYSTIC RIVER, a murder mystery in South Boston unites three men who have been friends since childhood. Grippingly powerful performances from the entire cast--Sean Penn, Tim Robbins, Marcia Gay Harden, Kevin Bacon, Laurence Fishburne, and Laura Linney--combined with gritty photography, an exceptionally emotional script, and a convincing working-class Boston setting make this film one of Eastwood's most consistent and penetrating works. Though they live in the same houses where they grew up, Jimmy (Penn), Dave (Robbins), and Sean (Bacon) have drifted apart over time. Their distance is due to a disturbing and violent episode that occurred when they were children. Even now, as adults married with kids, they have never managed to overcome their fear and guilt about what happened. Dave and his wife (Harden) still live next door to Jimmy, who is married to a tough-sexy blond (Linney) and has three daughters. When Jimmy's 19-year-old girl is murdered, he turns to Sean, who works as a policeman, and delivers an ultimatum: find the killer fast or I'll go after him myself. Little do they know, the culprit is the last person they'd ever suspect.

Despite his origins as a low-budget filmmaker with a taste for the unsavory side of life, Peter Jackson has turned into an "event" filmmaker--someone who can conjure up a movie on a scale unlike anything we've seen before. KING KONG is his sprawling, epic remake of Merian C. Cooper and Ernest B. Schoedsack's 1933 movie of the same name, and it is as big as the gorilla that runs riot through Jackson's rendering of Depression-era New York. Keeping the simple yet effective plot intact--a film crew travels to the mysterious Skull Island, picks up Kong, and brings him back to New York City--Jackson expands on this basic premise by drawing on the jaw-dropping talents of his special effects team to satisfy his thirst for the grand spectacle. The movie posits Naomi Watts as Ann Darrow, the starry-eyed blonde beauty whom Kong falls for; Jack Black as Carl Denham, a low-rent Orson Welles look-alike who drags the crew to the island to make his movie; and Adrian Brody as Jack Driscoll, a hack playwright who battles Kong both physically and for Darrow's heart. As the men struggle against Kong and the lumbering dinosaurs of Skull Island, Andy Serkis, who made the character of Gollum so believable in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, steps in to form the facial features of the mighty gorilla, lending a real emotional sucker-punch to the scenes between Darrow and Kong. But it's the final third of the movie where Jackson really delivers; his 1930s New York is stunning, and when Kong breaks free from his shackles and stampedes on a lovelorn trek through the city, then iconically climbs the Empire State Building with his sweetheart, it's impossible to not be swept away by the sheer beauty and sadness of the moment. While its three-hour length may prove daunting to some, the payoff in Jackson's KING KONG is ultimately worth it, proving once again that he is a director of breathtaking vision.
